Seniors are graduating from Yuma High on Friday the 26th of May and many of them will be sprouting out through multiple different colleges and universities to expand their knowledge and perception of things. There are 257 potential graduates here at Yuma High with two early graduates in December and eight early graduates from Vista High.

Seniors of the graduating class of 2017 have received $4,042,619 in scholarship offers.

According to Counselor Christie McMorris, students will be attending universities such as Princeton University in New Jersey, Georgetown University in Washington D.C., Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, Arizona State University. Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona.

Also, some seniors will be going to a well-known junior college, Arizona Western College.

Regardless of the situation, come on down to see the accomplished students this graduation year.
